Yew

Yew is less a town than a forest with buildings in it — a scattered woodland settlement of lumberjacks and carpenters, seat of the Courts of Truth.

Yew does have a bank, by Empath Abbey (639, 858): a banker and minter spawn at (652, 820) per the server spawn data (Spawns/felucca.xml, spawner Vendors#293). Note: anima’s world_knowledge.yaml omits the bank from Yew’s feature list — that list is incomplete, not authoritative. No blacksmith is listed for Yew. Other nearby landmarks include the infamous Hedge Maze to the south, and the dungeons Shame, the Wisp Dungeon, and the Ankh Dungeon in the forests south of town.

  • Vast forests all around — the Yew woods (roughly 100–750 × 650–1260) are the single largest lumberjacking area in Britannia. Trees everywhere, in every direction.

Lumberjacks, carpenters, and bowyers. Nowhere matches Yew’s tree density, and the carpenter and bowyer shops buy what you make from the wood. Bank your gains at the Empath Abbey bank (652, 820) — no need to haul lumber profits to Britain or Minoc. The forests are also good low-key hunting for new fighters.
