Vesper

このコンテンツはまだ日本語訳がありません。

Vesper, the City of Industry, is built on islands and bridges — a prosperous, cosmopolitan port that grew rich sitting between the Minoc mines and the open sea. Goods come down from the mountains and go out by ship; merchants of every craft set up shop along the canals, and the docks never quite sleep. Of all the great towns, Vesper feels the most like a working city: crowded, mercantile, and proud of it. Where neighboring Minoc is a single-trade mining camp, Vesper is the full-service marketplace that completes it.

Vesper sits on the north-east coast of the Felucca/Trammel mainland. The nearest public gate is the Minoc Moongate (2701, 692), a short walk west; take any gate, choose Minoc, and stroll east into Vesper. Boats and ships dock here too, and mages can Recall to a marked rune. See Moongates & shrines.

A dense, trade-town vendor cluster — the broadest roster outside the capital, from the NPCs recorded around the city (what the icons mean):

Bank Bank · Blacksmith Blacksmith · Tinker Tinker · Carpenter Carpenter · Bowyer Bowyer · Tailor Tailor · Jeweler Jeweler · Mage shop Mage shop · Reagents Reagents · Healer Healer · Provisioner Provisioner · Baker Baker

A mapmaker and shipwright serve the docks. No inn icon shows in the spawn data near the center, but lodging and the usual port trades are close at hand — befitting Vesper’s role as the region’s full-service market.

  • Mines to the north toward Minoc (roughly 2800–3000 × 400–600) for mining.
  • Fishing spots along the coast — Vesper’s shoreline (2900–3100 × 600–1000) is a noted fishing area.
  • Forest to the west for lumber.

Traders, fishers, and anyone working the Minoc loop who wants a full-service city. Vesper has the bank and the breadth of vendors that Minoc lacks, while staying close to the same mountains. Sailors and fishermen launch from here; the dungeon Covetous lies just south-west for hunters seeking more excitement than the docks provide.
