The ninja is a stealth fighter who strikes from the shadows. Ninjitsu turns hiding into a weapon — ambush damage, decoys, short-range teleports, and animal forms for travel and special abilities. On this shard Ninjitsu is real (the EJ expansion stack includes Samurai-Empire-era skills). It pairs with a stealth dexxer or an archer for hit-and-fade play.

  • Ninjitsu — the discipline; powers its abilities and forms.
  • Hiding and Stealth — vanish on demand and move while hidden; the foundation ambush and escape depend on.
  • A weapon skill — Fencing (kama, sai) or Swordsmanship; archers pair Ninjitsu with a bow instead.
  • Tactics and Anatomy for damage; Healing for bandages.

There is no dedicated ninja template page yet. Build it as a stealth dexxer with a Ninjitsu slot: start from the Warrior Template for the combat core, then add Ninjitsu + Hiding + Stealth. A common spread is weapon + Tactics + Anatomy + Ninjitsu + Hiding + Stealth + Healing. Read Hiding & Stealth first — it’s the whole point. Then Combat Basics and Combat Advanced for the swing loop and special moves; Magic Schools places Ninjitsu among the schools.

The toolkit (all confirmed under servuo: Scripts/Spells/Ninjitsu/):

  • Animal Form — turn into a creature for travel speed and form-specific abilities; the ninja’s signature mobility.
  • Mirror Image — spawn decoy clones that soak attacks.
  • Shadowjump — short teleport between shadows to reposition or escape.
  • Surprise Attack / Backstab — bonus damage when striking from hiding.
  • Death Strike — a delayed wound that punishes a target for moving.
  • Ki Attack / Focus Attack — momentum and focus-based hit bonuses.
  • Smoke bombs (craftable items) hide you instantly even in combat; shuriken are thrown ranged strikes.
  • Weapons and the weapon catalog — fast Fencing weapons (kama, sai) suit ambush bursts; carry shuriken and smoke bombs.
  • Armor — light enough not to hinder stealth; balanced resists.
  • Magic item properties — Swing Speed, Hit leech, and Stealth/Hiding-friendly mods; carry bandages.

Ninjas farm by ambush — open from hiding for a big first hit, then fade and re-hide between strikes to take less return damage. Animal Form speeds travel between farming spots. The stealth kit also suits scouting and avoiding PvP. Sell loot via Vendors & Banking.
