Moonglow

이 콘텐츠는 아직 번역되지 않았습니다.

On the island of Verity in the far east stands Moonglow, the City of Honesty — Britannia’s great seat of magic and learning. This is the mages’ town: scholars argue spell theory in the streets, reagents grow in the island’s fields, and the grandest building is not a castle or a keep but the Lycaeum, the realm’s foremost library and academy of the arcane. Honesty is its Virtue, study its pastime. Remote and a little rarefied, Moonglow rewards anyone who comes to master Magery with everything the craft demands, all within a short walk.

  • Center: (4442, 1172) — island bounds roughly (4278, 844) to (4717, 1509)
  • Moongate: Moonglow Moongate at (4467, 1283) — essential, as this is a remote island

Moonglow sits on its island in the far east — the Moonglow Moongate (4467, 1283) is the practical way in, since the island is otherwise reachable only by boat. Take any public gate and choose Moonglow. Mages, fittingly, can Recall or Gate straight here. See Moongates & shrines.

A scholar’s and spellcaster’s roster, from the NPC vendors recorded on the island (what the icons mean):

Bank Bank · Blacksmith Blacksmith · Carpenter Carpenter · Tailor Tailor · Mage shop Mage shop · Reagents Reagents · Healer Healer · Provisioner Provisioner · Baker Baker · Inn Inn

The mage shop and alchemist/herbalist (your reagents and potions) are the draw; a mapmaker and shipwright serve the coast. Landmarks: the Lycaeum (4456, 1150), Britannia’s great library and academy of magic, and the lighthouse on the southern coast. The undead dungeon Deceit is on a separate island to the north.

  • Reagent fields on the island — Moonglow is the traditional place to buy (and find) reagents.
  • Fishing spots along the coast (4400–4700 × 1100–1500).

Mages, scribes, and alchemists — this is your city. Mage shops for reagents and spell scrolls, scribes for inscription supplies, alchemists for bottles, and the bank a short walk from all of them. Training Magery here means never running dry of reagents. The moongate makes the island less isolated than it looks on the map.
